The
AFEGA Research Group has been using a test chamber for a few month now and it is used daily.
So far, no production defects have been found and all quality tests have gone to our satisfaction.
Important: It's not quiet in the chamber! The value we measured was 85 decibels. This corresponds to the noise level on a main road.
Based on our reviews, we consider it justifiable to recommend this chamber now. We are not selling the chamber ourselves for the time being, but are offering interested customers an 'assisted purchase' directly from the manufacturer in China.
Why don't we sell the chamber ourselves (yet)?
If you buy something in Germany / Europe, you are entitled to a guarantee / warranty, and this guarantee can be enforced fairly easily in Germany / Europe.
However, if we as a supplier order such a chamber in China, we also receive a 'guarantee', but that is not quite the same as in Germany. First of all, the Chinese manufacturer does not offer a two-year guarantee, as goes without saying in Europe, but only one year. In addition, this guarantee is likely to be very difficult to enforce in the event of a dispute (one would have to take legal action in a court in China). Above all, however, the Chinese manufacturer's guarantee does not include the high transport costs for a replacement delivery of damaged parts from China. We would have to bear these transport costs. The heavy devices can quickly add up to several hundred euros.
If we were to sell you such a chamber, then we would have to (be able to) enter into these guarantee obligations.
If we were a supplier who sold 20, 50 or even 100 such chambers per year, that would not be a problem either. But if we only sell 3 or 5 chambers, then a single warranty claim can wipe out all of our profits.
This risk is too great for us.
What we can offer you is our help:
The purchase contract for the chamber is not concluded between you and
us, but between you and the Chinese producer. So the purchase contract with the producer in China is for
you. You will also receive exactly the price that
we negotiated with the supplier for the purchases we brokered - and we assume that this is a particularly favorable price. There is no commission for us in the price you pay.
If you dare to do this, you can possibly try to negotiate an even lower price in direct negotiations with the Chinese supplier. Here is the

Important: Since the purchase contract is concluded between you and the Chinese supplier, you alone bear the 'guarantee risk' described above.
And what else can we do for you?
- We have such a chamber in use and know our strengths and weaknesses.
- We have set up the chamber (several times) and know how to do it and what to pay special attention to.
- We have a (so far pleasant and trusting) business relationship with the Chinese producers and, since we are particularly valuable business partners for our Chinese partner for easily understandable reasons, we can mediate between you and the Chinese suppliers with good prospects of success, should there be grounds for complaints. If you wish, we will take care of communication with our Chinese partner for you.
- We take over the entire process of the purchase for you, including a cheap money transfer (the latter can be quite expensive for transfers to China). Nowhere are any 'winnings' / commissions included in the fees for us. All fees are completely transparent to you.
- Upon request, we will come to you, set up the chamber for you and help you with the commissioning and your first first test of the chamber.
- You can contact us with any questions before and after the purchase and do not have to negotiate directly with the Chinese manufacturer.
Since we do not have any income from mediating the sale, we charge (moderate) fees for our consulting work:
An on-site inspection prior to purchase will be billed at EUR 120 for the first hour (EUR 15 will be billed for each additional quarter hour or part thereof). You can (and must) book the first hour of consultation here in the shop.
For the processing of a possible purchase including the money transfer, a flat fee of EUR 300 is charged.
If you want to set up the chamber yourself, you will be charged
EUR 75 per hour for support via Skype / telephone / WhatsApp etc.
If we are to set up the chamber for you, the travel costs for the journey from the headquarters of the AFEGA Research Group in Switzerland will be charged (the price for a 2nd class ticket without discounts is used) - and for the construction itself a flat rate of EUR 750, -
If there are reasons for complaints about the product, our brokerage activity is also billed on an hourly basis and
EUR 50 per hour is charged.

- Let us advise you on the purchase and leave the processing of the purchase (which is carried out on your behalf) to us. We advise you on all questions in connection with the purchase and later operation of the chamber by email, Skype and / or telephone.
- We handle both the purchase and the construction of the chamber for you on site. We buy the chamber on your behalf and the contract is between you and the Chinese supplier, but you have nothing to do with the details. We hand over the chamber ready to use.
- You buy the chamber from us (this option is currently not available, only possible for delivery addresses in Germany and Switzerland). On request, we can also install the chamber on site. We grant you the mandatory 2 year guarantee in Europe. In the event of justified defects, the relevant laws in Germany and Switzerland apply to dealings with us.
